Hello world. Today I decided to write in my blog about something that many of us suffer from. Not many people even realize that. Emotional eating is when you eat in response to feelings rather than hunger, usually as a way to suppress or relieve negative emotions. Stress, anxiety, sadness, boredom, anger, loneliness, relationship problems and poor self-esteem can all trigger emotional eating. When emotions determine your eating habits rather than your stomach, it can quickly lead to overeating, weight gain and guilt. Heal emotional eating today, and start you new life tomorrow. |
Emotional eating is the number one cause of obesity, is any eating that is done other than to satisfy hunger. It is the reason why diet and exercise programs continually fail. I have walked this path myself.. I use to be an emotional eater, I helped hundreds of people to heal that, yes really ! I am an author of a guide book about that, and now I am wringing a book ( yes, in English ! :)) . If you want to change your life, lose weight or be happy - you just need to YOUR FIRST STEP - beat emotional eating/ stress eating/ cravings. You can stop cravings - YES.You can stop your love to sweets and chocolate- yes. Transform Your Mind to Get the Body / life and happiness You Want - I am a right person to talk about this. This is my job and my pleasure to help.
The connection between mood, food and weight loss
Emotional eating is eating as a way to suppress or soothe negative emotions, such as stress, anger, fear, boredom, sadness and loneliness. Both major life events and the hassles of daily life can trigger negative emotions that lead to emotional eating and disrupt your weight-loss efforts. Although some people actually eat less in the face of strong emotions, if you're in emotional distress you may turn to impulsive or binge eating — you may rapidly eat whatever's convenient, without even enjoying it. In fact, your emotions may become so tied to your eating habits that you automatically reach for a treat whenever you're angry or stressed without stopping to think about what you're doing.
These triggers may include:
Unemployment
Financial pressure
Health problems
Relationship conflicts
Work stress
Fatigue
